I am struggeling with headline numbering. This is the scenario:

- We are not using style tempalates.
- TRichView A has some numbered headline HA with some normal text below it.
- Text from A is exported via SaveRVFToStream and put into a database.

sorry to reopen a very old topic, but I think it fits perfectly. In recent version of TRichView, the "ListId" in the styles.ini file has been replaced by a ListId per ListStyle, is that correct?

When you export to RTF, open the file in word and create a table of contents (TOC) in word, word will include all direct and character/text styles of headings in the TOC.

The fault was on my side, I hadn't realized that this specific text was set by the SetItemText method which by definition does not handle any breaks.

When I SaveRTF(), this appears in the RTF as "\u8232 ?" and Word2003 does not recognize it. It should be "\line ", right?

Is there a way to get this right?

Why not tab?

Because in centered paragraphs, it may be desirable to get equal spacing between any paragraph number and the text, regardless of the width of the number.

The tab is, at least, choosen by MS Word as a separator. Is there a way to change that? For centered headings, a tab character is most likely not what you want, instread, a single space would be good.
