Finding the default icon for any file is pretty straight forward using the system image list...As long as the file is associated, you gen get a .bmp of the associated file. Let me know if you need code for this, I have it working in a current aplication.

Hello all,

I am just looking for some stuff to achieve exactly the results as described by GNUMatrix (like attachments in Notes).

Does anybody know whether the code posted here is still good and working (I use TRichView 13.

and whether it makes sense to invest time for that, or if there is another functional solution/component?
