1) Does your Camera Search enumerate cameras you don't support (Like Samsung)? How do you recognize cameras ?
2) Is there a limited range of IP Addresses devoted to IP Cameras? It would take hours to search: 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x ?
Thanks,
John

RVMedia camera search may find cameras that it can only display, without configuring. It searches for MJpeg or H.264 streams, depending properties.
While searching, RVMedia enumerates several locations at the specified CameraHost:CameraPort. In this way, it can recognize several Samsung IP cameras (or compatible with them).
IP camera can be on any IP. Normally, you should know IP address of your IP camera.

To be clear, cameras such as Amcrest that you do not support, DO show up in the Camera Search Demo if they produce MJPEG/H.264 steams ?
Can your software broadcast images to the internet ? Or do I use INDY 10 TidHttpServer ?

Sorry, I cannot tell if the specific camera model will be found. If its video URL in our templates, it will be found. If you have documentation for the camera, and this documentation specifies the video URL, we can add it in our templates.
Sorry, RVMedia does not support broadcasting in standard formats yet.
