Detecting the source of rviaMovingToUndoList

I want to perform additional actions in response to OnItemAction, in particular

to replace text being deleted by some "default" text. There is only one little

problem - I could not distinguish whether rviaMovingToUndoList is caused

by text deletion or by text replacement. What would be the recommended way

of doing so?
