Problem with Saving DBRichViewEdit

Hello,

I am using DBRichViewEdit control, bounded to the DataField (

ClientDataSet ). On my form, I am doing some manipulation with this text :

- first load it from some other database field

- then replace some values using 'Insert' command

- then save changes to the database

But, the result is that the changes which are done by 'Insert' command, are

not saved.

The sequence of the commands is  :

...

Insert(Text, i, j );

...

DBRichViewEdit1.Format;

...

clTest.applyupdates(0);
